Important agreements

- Ministry of Education and Sport

Memorandum, 3 years (2015-2018), with the Ministry of Education and Sport for statistics extraction of children with DS registered in pre university education system, and the assistance for them and their teachers, the last one depends from the projects that DSA will win. DSA is working with DAR-et to extract the data for academic year 2015-2016.

- Collaboration agreement with the Municipality of Tirana

The goal of this agreement is building collaboration bridges between these two institutions, in order to work together on providing a healthy, independent and inclusive life for individuals with Down Syndrome and other individuals with other intellectual disabilities in Tirana.

 - Agreement with maternities “Mbreteresha Geraldine” and “Koco Glozheni”

These two agreements have as an objective providing information to parents, whom will give a birth to a child with Down Syndrome, the right orientation about the needs of the child and the orientation towards the centers which offers specific services for their child. Agreements duration is 3 years, signed on March, 2014 and are valid till March, 2017.

 - Agreement with American Hospital

Since 2014, Down Syndrome Albania Foundation has signed, for 3 years, an agreement with American Hospital. Through this agreement, children and adults with Down syndrome, who are registered next to DSA Center, profit visits and medical consults, free of charge, and 30% discount on every other examination that need to do next to this hospital. 30% discount is valid even for the karyotype analysis.
For registration, you need to come together with your child next to DSA’s offices, and to bring below listed documents:
1- Children/ Adult Personal Certificate
2- Copy of KMCAP or any other document that verify the presence of DS
3- One photo

This agreement is valid until 21.3.2017.

 -  Agreement with Hygeia Hospital

Since 2014, Down Syndrome Albania Foundation has signed 3 years agreement with Hygeia Hospital. Through this agreement, children and adults with Down syndrome, who are registered next to DSA Center, profit visits and medical consults, free of charge, and 30% discount on every other examination that they need to do. 30% discount is valid even for the karyotype analysis. Hygeia Hospital on the agreement with DSA includes even the surgery intervention for babies whom are born with heart malfunctions and that needs an intervention, which are impossible to do in Albania. These cases, Hygeia Hospital carry out in Miteras Hospital in Greece (includes only intervention costs). To proceed with these cases, firstly parents have to come next to Down Syndrome Albania Foundation, to discuss the situation and then DSA will start the procedure with the hospital.
For registration, you need to come together with your child next to the offices of DSA, and to bring below listed documents:
1- Personal Certificate of the child/adult
2- Copy of KMCAP or any other document that verify the presence of DS
3- One photo

This agreement is valid until 21.3.2017.

 -  Agreement with University Clinic “Zoja e Keshillit te Mire”

Dental Clinic “Zoja e Keshillit te Mire” has as an objective to bring up dental wellness and psych-physical wellness supporting all over the therapeutic treatment. Dermatologic Clinic A-Derma offers examinations and dermatologic consults, free of charge, for all the children registered next to Down Syndrome Albania Foundation.
For registration, you need to come together with your child with DS next DSAs offices, and to bring below documents:
1- Personal Certificate of the child/adult
2- Copy of KMCAP or any other document that verify the presence of DS
3- One photo

This agreement is valid until 21.03.2017 .
