OSCE Prezence in Albania has donated a substantial fund for providing therapeutical services for 38 children with disabilities of Down Syndrome Albania Foundation during 2019.

The aging of the population with Down syndrome is a positive sign
On the occasion of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, the Council of Europe, in co-operation with the Permanent Representation of Albania and the Down Syndrome Albania Foundation, will host the exhibition: “Every Human is a Piece of Art"
For the first time Albania will be represented in the International Competition of Individuals with Down Syndrome, Trisome Games 2016, which will be held in Florence, Italy. Trisome Games are sportive games for different sports like swimming, athletics etc...for individuals with Down Syndrome.
